Emy Munji

Emy Munji is one of the most noted arrangers in the Philippine Music Industry. In 1957, Munji made studies in musical composition at the UST Conservatory of Music. He dashed off to make tours abroad foremost in the Hongkong-Bangkok musical circuit. Emy Munji became a part of the revival of Filipino cultural rooting by handling the musical directions for the Filipinescas Dance Company during its Far East tour. It was by 1965 that Munji handled together with his orchestra the TV scoring for such shows of primetime category as Isa Dalawa tatlo, Da Pakulo, The Elvira Manahan Show, and Mari-Len. He had also entered the movies with his orchestral scoring for See You In September, Together Again, and such others.
