Redentor Romero

Romero was hailed by the New York Post as an "excellent conductor". He was the country's first and only international conductor. International soloists who had performed under his baton include Valery Klimov, Malcolm Frager, Janos Starker, Philip Entremont, Gidon Kremer, Vladimir Krainev, Yevgeny Malinin, and Raizza Bobriniova. Romero graduated from the University of the Philippines and studied further at the San Francisco Conservatory.
