Joey Albert was first seen on television in 1982 when she won the Dream Girl Filipina Contest, opening doors for her in the entertainment industry. Since then, she has captured the hearts of the listening public with her angelic voice, recording more than 10 albums to date. She has graced the country’s premiere concert venues such as the Araneta Coliseum, Folk Arts Theater, as well as the Manila Hotel. She had a short stint in movies, co-starring in a few comedies with Tito, Vic and Joey. One of her most unforgettable vocal renditions was that of Louie Ocampo’s Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin. In 1990, she won Best Female Performer at the Awit Awards.
