Mofamco Cultural Guild

The Mothers and Family Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MOFAMCO) organized its own cultural guild dedicated to preserve traditonal music of the Cordillera.Their projects include the recordings of Cordillera folk songs (Kullilipan) and instrumental music (Gangeh di Montanyosa). The group came out in 2001 an anthology of music from Kalinga, Benguet, Ifugao and Mountain Province, aptly called Boltan (Heritage). It is surprising that this group has came out with big projects when their quarters is located in the tinapa section of the Baguio City Market.
