ANDREW E

Also known as Andrewford V. Espiritu, this rapper started a new style of rapping, the Filipino style. Andrew E. is an actor, a songwriter, musical director, record distributor, and record producer rolled into one. As a record producer, he produced a total of 32 albums in his career. In 1991 he was awarded the Most Promising National Artist and the BASF Recipient Award. In 1992 his album reached quadruple platinum award (Viva Records), the highest possible platinum award for a single album in the Philippines. This feat is repeated in 1999, this time his album is under Sony Music Philippines. He recently receives a platinum award for his 2003 album under Viva Records.
